On the evening of October 11, 2013, a memorial for Susan Harrison, best known as A.S.A. Harrison, was held at the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto, in celebration of A.S.A.’s life and her many and varied contributions to our own.

Her husband, John Massey, invited ten people to the podium – family, friends and colleagues – to share memories and stories that would offer a glimpse into a life lived fully, with curiosity, purpose and tremendous intelligence. Then, John spoke.
